Teaching Dear John to Read

Blaise, you should listen to Imus.  It's just the right mix of intellectual for you.

His brother Fred just called in and asked if he could have the Dog Whisperer on again because he needs to know if you can teach a dog a printed word.
So Imus tells him Charles shows dogs and can help him.
Fred relays his problem: when he takes his dog, Dear John, to the Subway he buys him a meatball sub.  Dear John goes crazy over those meatball subs, he loves them.
So the problem is – when they go to the Quik Mart Dear John is expecting a meatball sub.  And pouts for half the day when he doesn't get one.  So Fred wants to teach Dear John to recognize Quik Mart is not Subway.

Isn't that cute?!
